Rahu is a shadow planet (chhaya graha), the north lunar node, representing intense worldly desire, ambition and the pull toward the unfamiliar. It has no sign of its own but is generally considered exalted in Taurus and debilitated in Scorpio. Rahu magnifies whatever house and sign it occupies, often bringing sudden, unconventional or foreign-linked results.
